Challenge:

  • The client was operating a legacy market management system built on ASP, VB, and Oracle. While the system remained functional, it was no longer able to meet new functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • To address these limitations, the bank introduced a modern second-generation system based on .NET and Oracle, designed to be scalable, easier to maintain, and prepared for future growth.

Solution:

  • We provided L2/L3 support, including incident resolution and minor enhancements for the legacy system.
  • Following the introduction of the new platform, we supported a smooth transition and ensured the coexistence of both systems during the migration period.
  • Over time, we also took over maintenance of the second-generation system, including major upgrades, Oracle database migrations, and support for new version deployments.
  • The support model remained stable and predictable, continuously adapting to the growing needs and increasing complexity of the market.

Results:

Preserved operation of the original 20-year-old system

Scalable maintenance model

SLA targets consistently met

Critical know-how preserved

Smooth transition between system generations
